Central entrance block of 2 storeys of 5 3-light and 4-light casement windows. Central carriage entrance with rounded arch. A gable either side with ground floor canted bay. Gables and parapet over entrance are stone coped, the gables shouldered. Over entrance a stone tablet inscribed 'Q.H. 1905'. On the roof ridge above this an elaborate wood and lead clock tower. The square first stage has a clock face with Roman numerals. Over this is a balustrade with turned balusters and an open octagonal lantern with leaded roof, finial and wrought-iron weathervane. Extending to either side of central block then turning at right angles and extending to rear a range of 1 storey outbuildings. Between these and forming the fourth side of a quadrangle a 2 storey stable range with gable opposite the entrance arch. Here a canted bay with sash windows and 4-light casement over. To left of main quadrangle a series of 1 and 1½ storey kennel buildings, the exercise yards with iron railings. The whole, together with 3 cottages (q.v.) and house (q.v.), forms an impressive group.
