GV II
Farmhouse: dated 1682 with re-used early C17 staircase, and 1727 on rainhead, some late C19 alterations and additions. English bond orange brick with stone dressings. Welsh slate roof and 1 central brick chimney. 3-storey, 3-bay west front. Chamfered stone plinth, stone quoins, plain band at 1st floor, cornice at 2nd floor and stone coped hipped gable. End bays have tall 3-light C19 wooden casements with flat stone heads and original moulded hoods in top storey, (1 canted bay window). Doric doorcase with rusticated pilasters and shouldered architrave around 4-panelled door. Above is plaque reading JAT JMT 1682. To side and rear are 2-light stone mullioned windows in plinth and a rainhead reading EGLI 1727. C19 ranges added to north. Interior: Heavy ceiling beams, 1 cyma-moulded, the rest deeply chamfered with quirk and tongue steps, and re-used pierced flat baluster stair to 1st floor with finialled square newels. 2 and 6-panelled doors with raised fields in reveals with raised fields, and upstairs one with a full doorcase.
