Farmhouse: early C18 with early C19 extension to rear. Flemish bond brown brick, Welsh slate roof and 2 ridge brick chimneys. Double-pile plan. 2-storey (and blind attic), symmetrical 3-bay front. Plain band at 1st floor and stepped band at 2nd floor. Cross windows under segmental brick heads. Central moulded wooden doorcase with a 4-panelled door and plain fanlight above. West front has similar windows in the original part and a 4-light wooden casement to former cheese store in the attic. 4-bay extension to the left has small-pane, cast-iron casements with intersecting tracery in the upper parts and 4 panes hinged at the centre. Board door behind lean-to hood. Interior: not seen but reported to be unchanged from the provisional list, which reads: old bevelled beams, some cased, some square, 2-panelled doors and ledged, boarded doors with H-hinges and strap hinges, some on lugs. North-east ground floor room has cupboards each side of mantel, with fielded panel doors. East side is bee-hive cupboard, with arch, and with shaped shelves. Adjoining room to south has very fine plain (4-tier) cupboards in oak with fielded panels to doors. Some cupboards have a pigeon hole arrangement. Small H-hinges.
