Details
SE 1408 VICTORIA STREET 12/378 (north side) (Holmfirth)
Nos 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30 and 32 GV II
Terrace, used as shops and banks. Early to mid C19 altered. Ashlar. Stone slate roof with moulded eaves cornice. Three storeys. Sill band to second floor and to first floor where surviving. Recent shop and bank frontages to ground floor. The 1920s or 30s frontage to No 28 extends to first floor. The rest of the first floor remains intact as does the second floor. The surviving facade is symmetrical with 11 sashes with glazing bars to second floor, and 5 sashes to first floor. The 2-storey frontage to No 28 consists of 6 moulded round arched openings with glazed bars with doorway in opening to left.
