CROOK AND WILLINGTON B 6299 NZ 13 NE (South side, off) 24/18 Stonechester farmhouse and cowhouse adjoining GV II

Farmhouse and cowhouse in one build. Late C18. Thinly-rendered sandstone rubble with quoins and brick and ashlar dressings; roofs of-C20 tiles and Welsh slate, with brick chimneys. Cowhouse at left: one-storey, one-bay part and 2-storey 3-bay part; house of 2 storeys and 3 bays; 7 bays in all. Cowhouse has alternate-block jambs to Dutch door in one-storey building and central boarded door in 2-storey building; blocked openings above; a window inserted in blocked doorway below at right. House has flat stone lintels to boarded-up window at left and wide window at right; rendering obscures possible central door. First floor sashes, that at right wider with 20 panes, those at left late C19, with brick lintels. End brick chimneys to house. Right return gable has boarded door. Rear one-storey, one-bay extension with catslide roof; rear side steps to loft over cowhouse.
