Formerly known as: Trinidad Place LIVERPOOL ROAD. Terraced houses. Begun 1829-30 and completed in 1834, the date in the central pediment. No 90, and presumably the rest of the terrace, designed by Francis Edwards; nos 100-106, and probably the rest, developed by W.S.Dove. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond, stucco, roof obscured by parapet. Three storeys over basement, two windows each. The terrace is set out symmetrically with a pedimented centrepiece set forward slightly (nos 100-106), and wings (nos 82-86 and 120-124) in which the two outer houses are set forward slightly. Basement and ground floor stuccoed, the ground floor decorated with banded rustication. Steps up to segmental-arched entrance with panelled pilasters, fanlight with decorative glazing, and panelled door of original design; ground-floor window round-arched; stucco terminates at storey band; upper windows flat-arched with heads of gauged brick, those to the first floor having piano nobile proportions and cast-iron balconies; parapet; stacks to party walls. The centrepiece has moulded stucco architraves and cornice to first-floor windows; pedimented panel over nos 102 and 104 decorated with palmettes and formerly inscribed 'TRINIDAD PLACE'; the wings have a stucco cornice and blocking course, though this feature is missing from no 120. Features of individual houses are: no 82 has a round-arched entrance in single-storey porch set back to right-hand return; sashes of original design to nos 84 (ground and first floors), 86 (first floor), 88 (ground floor), 90-94 (ground and first floors), 96, 98 (ground and first floors), 100, 102 (ground and first floors), 104-8, 110-112 (ground and first floors), 116 (first and second floors), 118 (first floor), 120, 122 (ground floor); no 124 has round-arched entrance with fluted quarter columns and mutule cornice in single-storey porch set back to left-hand return. Original cast-iron railings to steps and area on some houses, among many replacement designs. (Historians' file, English Heritage London Division).
