House, now shop. C17. Rendered brick; timber-frame; Welsh slate roof; brick ridge and end stacks. 3-unit plan, probably 3 bays of timber-framing. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range: three 6/6 sashes in moulded wood cases; early C20, 18-light corner window, with coloured transom lights; close studding over; moulded wood eaves cornice; 2 gabled roof dormers. Early C20 shop fronts with doors to centre bay and to left corner. Early C20 brick refacing to right gable end; returned shop front. INTERIOR: staircase: access from Pegasus Club. 1st floor: C19 panelled dado, with frieze; C19 cast-iron fireplace; architrave to corner window; exposed, reset timber-framing; C19 fireplace with hob-grate; moulded and plastered ceiling beams. Ground floor: plastered and chamfered ceiling beams; masonry stack-base to left rear. Cellar: oak posts; masonry stack-base and lining; heavy ceiling-beams. (RCHME).
