Office. Mid C19. Red squared, coursed Pennant rubble and red brick, with limestone cills and double Roman tile roof, brick ridge stacks. Single-depth plan. 2 storeys; 4-window range. A wide curved central gabled section projects with an entrance in the right-hand return, and the left-hand return gable is curved. Segmental-arched windows have 3- and 4-light timber mullion casements, with transoms on the ground floor. Plain brick rear elevation faces Coronation Road. C20 single-storey extensions to the central bay. INTERIOR: plain office interior. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: high rusticated limestone ashlar piers and short walls, with attached perimeter red rubble wall. HISTORICAL NOTE: Bedminster had a large tanning industry in the C19, of which this is the last survival.
