Terraced houses, dated 1789 in a panel to no 15. Yellow brick
set in Flemish bond, stucco, roof obscured by parapet. Four
storeys over basement, no 14 has three windows with entrance
wing of one-window range; nos 15-16 have three windows.
Round-arched entrance with gauged brick head and cornice,
decorative fanlight and panelled door of original design; no
15 has panelled pilasters, no 16 moulded architrave with
circular corner bosses; entrance wing to no 14 has a
round-arched window to the ground floor with Palladian motif
linked to entrance by moulded stucco springing band,
round-arched blank niche and recessed square panel;
first-floor window round-arched with gauged brick head and
Palladian motif. All windows to main fronts have gauged brick
heads, those to ground floor round-arched and set in a
round-arched recess and linked by moulded stucco springing
band; upper windows flat-arched; moulded stucco sill band to
first floor which also has segmental iron balconies to
windows; panel above first-floor windows of no 15 with incised
lettering 'HIGHBURY TERRACE AD 1789'; cornice of brick and
moulded stucco above second-floor windows; attic storey and
parapet. Screen wall between nos 16 and 17 Highbury Terrace
(q.v.) with three round arches with gauged brick heads linked
by moulded stucco springing band; flat-arched entrances in
outer bays, small round-arched niches between bays; parapet.
