Houses. Early C19. Brick; hipped slate roof; C20 rebuilt central brick ridge stack, and brick to rear. 3 storeys and cellar; 4-window range: to right, 12/12 French windows; to left C20, 2/2 sashes in altered openings; segmental arches; 3/3 sashes over. Two 6/6 sashes, flanked by 6-panel doors with fanlights, under gauged brick semicircular arches. INTERIOR: No.49: staircase with stick balusters, swan neck rail and turned newels. 2nd floor: 4-panel doors; hob-grates; skirting. 1st floor: mutilated cast-iron fireplace; architraves. Ground floor: 6-panel doors; cast-iron fireplace with wood surround; cornice; 2 part-glazed panelled doors to rear. Cellar: stone-lined; 4-panel door.
