GV II
Shop with house to the right. Late C17/early C18 with later, probably early C19, extension to the right. Painted render over rubblestone; plain tile roof to the left with brick stacks to gable ends; hipped tarred slate roof to the right with rubblestone stack to the right of the right block. 2-unit through-passage plan to the left block, one-unit plan to the right block. 3 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range to the left. 2 storeys; one-window range to the right. Late C19 or C20 three-light casement windows to the upper floors, those to the second floor are at eaves level; similar windows to the right block. Mid C19 double-fronted shop to the left; a C18 hood on brackets over a central C19 door, glazed to the top, is flanked by C19 fascias over 6-light plate glass windows with segmental-arched heads. INTERIOR: the shop has late C17/early C18 moulded beams. Otherwise not inspected.
