Formerly known as: The Vicarage THOMAS STREET. House, formerly vicarage, now offices. Mid/late C18 with late C19 additions. Limestone ashlar, coursed limestone rubble to sides and rear, C19 additions in coursed squared limestone; hipped parapeted stone slate roof, Welsh slate to C19 additions; ashlar stacks on shaped parapet to left and right sides of main range, stone stack to left side and two stone stacks to rear. Main range is Palladian villa with pediment over slightly broken-forward centre 3 bays; C19 additions to right side and rear. Main range is 3 storeys, 5 windows. First floor has five 6/6-pane sashes in plain reveals; second floor has 5 similar 3/3-pane sashes. Ground floor has four 6/6-pane sashes in moulded stone architraves with stone cills; 6-panel door to centre has decorative fanlight over, in moulded stone doorcase with Doric pilasters and open pediment. Shallow plinth, plat bands over ground and first floors. Modillion eaves cornice; coped parapet; modillion pediment. Rusticated quoins to ground floor left and right angles. C19 single-storey extension to right front in similar style has two 6/6-pane sashes and 6-panel door with overlight all in moulded stone architraves. C19 two-storey wing to right side, C19 canted bay to rear. INTERIOR not inspected.
