Six terraced houses. 1828-1829. By William Chadwell Mylne, Surveyor for the New River Estate. Yellow stock brick set in Flemish bond with rusticated (nos. 6-10) and banded (no.11) stucco ground-floor and stucco dressings; roofs obscured, no. 11 with massive roof extension and dormers, party-wall brick stacks. Side-hall entrance plan. Three storeys (nos. 6-8) and four-storeys (nos. 9-11) all with basements; 2 windows each. Steps rise to round-arched doorway with pilaster jambs (nos. 6-8), square-headed doorway with attached Doric columns (nos. 9-10) and 1-storey entrance extension (no.11): all with corniced-head, patterned fanlight (nos. 7-8 with coloured glass), overlight and panelled door. Predominantly 6/6 sashes throughout: gauged-brick flat arches to upper floors (some French doors with margin lights); 1st floor stucco sill band beneath full-length sashes set in arched brick recesses linked by stucco impost band (except no. 11) with individual cast-iron balconies with anthemion pattern (no. 11 with circular pattern) to iron railings. Some rebuilding to upper floors; plain brick parapet with stone coping. Attached cast-iron railings with acorn or urn finials.
