Town house. C18, remodelled mid/late C19, possibly by Henry Rice. roughly coursed slatestone rubble, fairly steep slate roof with brick end stacks; projecting eaves with modillions over frieze of consoles. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; symmetrical 5-window front. Flat brick arches with projecting keyblocks over probably mid C19 12-pane hornless sashes with glazing bars removed to bottom sashes to ground floor. Wide C18 central doorway with flat pilasters and full Doric entablature; panelled reveals; C20 glazed door and sidelights. INTERIOR has moulded ceiling cornice to entrance hall and linked room on left, and modillion cornice to other front room.
