Town house, possibly former inn, later shop. C18, front partly rebuilt late C19. Local slatestone rubble front; steep purple slate roof; stone rubble end stacks later heightened with brick; cast-iron ogee gutter. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Late C19 horned sashes under timber lintels to 1st floor; paired sashes in wider openings at left and right; at left over elliptically-arched former carriage entrance now with paired sash and on right a complete mid/late C19 double shop front with 6-pane shop windows with splayed 2-pane sidelights to central doorway with glazed door and overlight; fascia with moulded cornice above. INTERIOR not inspected.
