House. Late C18. Brick; hipped Welsh slate roof; brick ridge and rear stacks. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and cellar; 4-window range: 6/6 sashes under gauged brick flat arches; 3/6 sashes; moulded brick eaves. Entrance to centre left: 6 fielded-panel door and plain overlight, in panelled reveals, under moulded wood open-pediment hood on pilasters; to left, 1, to right, two 6/6 sashes. Right returned side: returned eaves moulding; tripartite 2/2: 6/6: 2/2 sash, and small sash, to ground and 1st floors; 1/1: 3/6: 1/1 sash, and small sash, over. Rear: part rendered, with late C19, 2/2: 2/2 sash and C20 metal casement to 2nd floor. INTERIOR: C18 open-well staircase with turned balusters, moulded string and rail, and panelled dado. 2nd floor: four 6-panel doors; one 4-panel door; panelled risers and window shutters; moulded cornice and skirting; early C19 cast-iron fireplace; wooden fire surround. 1st floor: similar features to 2nd floor; C19 marble fireplace; ceiling rose and leaf-modillion cornice; wood fire surround. Ground floor: panelled dado to hall; ceiling roses and cornices; sprigged arch; 4- and 6-panel doors with architraves; C19 wood fire surround; panelled risers and shutters to windows with architraves. Cellar: stone-lined; plank door; brick arches; chamfered ceiling beam; brick floor.
