Terraced row of 5 houses. Mid C19. Red brick (some burnt), slate roofs. Shared cruciform red brick stacks. Terrace follows curve of street at junction with High Street. Plan, parallel sided range but No.1 projects slightly at rear. 2 storey and cellars with grilles. Front elevation: houses have paired front doors with pilaster buttress between, stacks in other party wall. Each house a single window range, 5 in all. Doorways have elliptical heads, good voussoirs but only door of No.1 is original, of 6 fielded panels, rest C20 with upper glazing. Windows segment headed with good voussoirs and splayed York stone sills. No.1 also has original 2-light casement windows, glazing bars, 4x4 panes, rest altered but kept within original apertures. Nos 7 & 9 have C19 shaped slates and some original scored pointing. Rear: each unit has ground floor segment headed door and window and single similar window on first floor. Original C19 windows are 2-light casements with glazing bars, 2x4 panes. No.1 rear has its original boarded door in the S return face of the projection.
