House in row. C16 with early C18 front. Painted brickwork, timber-framed main fabric, tile roof, brick stack. A typical side-entry parallel-plan timber-framed Tewkesbury dwelling, with access from the alley passing beneath the left hand end of the property; refronted in the C18. 2 storeys, attic and basement, 3-windowed. Two 2-light casement gabled dormers above 12-pane sashes in face boxes. At ground floor under continuous timber drip course, and with timber posts dividing the bays. The entry to Old Baptist Chapel Court through fine double doors made into single leaf, with 12 vertical panels and wide centre rail, all in C18 moulded surround. Entrance through plank door in box-framed wall to passage. Lofty brick stack right gable end. Back, above throughway, has 2-light C18 window with transom. Deep wing has a 3-light gabled dormer above C18 two-light with transom and above wide plank door, all in large panel framing. INTERIOR includes late C17 staircase with turned balusters and square newels to pulvinated outer string. Good stone fireplace reputed to be behind later panelling. The rear of the property continues to properties facing into the court.
