Offices and dwellings, now bank, offices and shop. Early C19. Stucco; hipped Welsh slate roof; various brick stacks. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and cellar; 9-window range: in central advanced bay, 6/6 sashes to 1st and 2nd floors, with storeyband; to left, two 6/6 sashes and 2 leaf part-glazed panelled doors and overlight, giving access to balcony, with 3/3 sashes over; to right, 3 plain sashes, with C20 casements over; moulded cornice to parapets. Central bay has archway with C20 wrought-iron gates, panelled oak double doors, and 2 plain lights with semicircular heads; similar door (with cast-iron canopy) and lights to left; all in engraved stucco with moulded architraves to arches, cornice, and band over. Right-hand element has late C19 shop front, extending to Nos 16 & 17: central recess with glazed door and display cabinets, flanked by windows with moulded and enriched glazing bars, panelled soffits, moulded stall boards and fascia board, pilasters and fluted consoles, and awning-hood with cast-iron guard; smaller unit to right. Right returned side slate hung to rear. INTERIOR: No.14: early C19 dogleg staircase with stick balusters; early C19 open well staircase with stick balusters. 2nd floor: C20 fireplace; 4-panel doors; C19 fireplace. 1st floor: 6-panel doors. Cellar: brick-lined. No.13 (Nat West Bank): open well staircase with cast-iron balusters; painted glass round-headed light. Nos.15 & 16: C19 winder staircase with turned newels, stick balusters and swan neck rail, (including to cellar). 2nd floor: two 4-panel doors; 2-panel door. 1st floor: 4-panel door; 6-panel door; architraves to doors and windows; picture-rail. Ground floor: fittings and display cases matching shop front. Cellar: brick-lined. Nos.17 & 18 Broad Street: massive exposed purlins to 2nd floor.
