Shop and offices. Late C18/early C19 with medieval origins, altered C20. Red brick in Flemish bond with some flared headers and slate roof. L-plan. 3-storey, 4-window range. Carriageway to far right. C20 shop front to rest of ground floor. 16-pane sash windows to 1st and 2nd floors with gauged brick flat-arched heads. Those over carriageway are smaller, that to 1st floor with flat-arched head, that to 2nd with wood lintel. 2nd-floor storey band and cogged brick eaves. 2-storey wing to rear left with plain-tile roof and brick end stack. INTERIOR: stone cellar, infilled. Wing has chamfered spine beams and some stop-chamfered joists. Room over carriageway has the larger part of a C14 aisled hall truss against the party wall, with signs of smoke blackening. Truss has massive chamfered and hollow-chamfered cambered collar, arch-braced between presumed aisle posts. Arch braces cut into collar and have sunk quadrant mouldings framed by hollow chamfers, with roll mouldings outermost partly hacked back. Main block has queen posts roof with 1 tier of purlins.
