5/26 Summer House at Gunby Hall 3.2.67

Summer house. c.1800. Wood and lead. Sexagonal plan. Open sided to the front with domed lead roof supported on fluted Doric pillars and scrolled brackets. Seat and planked back to 3 sides. The summer house, brouqht from another part of the grounds, was possibly designed by Elizabeth Langton Massinqberd, an artist and amateur architect.
