Model farm building. '1901' and Croft monogram in plasterwork on SW gable. Probably by W Wood Bethell architect of Fanhams Hall (1901) for Croft family qv. Plastered above high red brick plinth, with brick surrounds to openings and pilasters. Red tiled roofs. Single storey main range E - W with 4 gabled wings projecting on S separating yards closed by brick walls and piers with knobs. One and a half storeys centre part of main range has 3 gabled dormers on N and a central clock cupola with vane. Small square louvred vents with knobs on roofs of lower ranges. Centre and E part of block for stables, NW part a barn, W ranqe an implement shed open on W, and larger central S projection the cowhouse. Segmental arched sash windows. Bargeboarded decorative gables. Dormer with curved pediment on roof of W range.
