GV II
House. Early C18, with early C19 and late C19 alterations. Red
brick with stone dressings and continuous dentilled brick bands
between floors. Steeply pitched red clay tile roof with central
brick ridge stack and C19 brick gable stack to east, also brick
coped gables. Two storeys plus attics and three bays. Off-
centre doorcase with panelled door and plain overlight, flanked
by wide glazing bar sashes below rusticated wedge lintels to
either side. Eastern window is a C20 replica of that to west,
replacing a C19 bay window. Above three narrower glazing bar
sashes and above again three gabled full late C19 roof dormers
with 2-light casement windows. Below the dormers the blocked
original attic windows are visible. Gabled walls have dentilled
bands between floors and garret windows.
