TQ3283NW ARLINGTON SQUARE 635-1/60/42 (South East side) Nos.12-21 (Consecutive) and attached railings
GV II
Terraced houses. c.1850. Developed by Henry Rydon. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond, stucco, roof obscured by parapet. Three storeys over basement, two windows each. Basement and ground floor stuccoed, the ground floor decorated with banded rustication. Steps up to flat-arched entrance with overlight; door with two round-arched panels on nos 13-14, 16-18. All windows flat-arched, those to the first floor having moulded stucco architrave and cornice on consoles, those to the second floor moulded stucco architraves only; window guards to first floor of nos. 12-14, 17-21. Stucco cornice and blocking course; stacks to party walls. Cast-iron railings to steps and area. (Eric Willatts: Streets with a story.
