Pair of cottages. Mid to later C18; altered. Coursed squared sandstone with
quoins, stone slate roof. Rectangular double-depth plan. Two storeys, each
cottage one bays plain doorways close to outer corners, both with large
rectangular lintels; each has one window on each floor, all of 2 large lights
with flat-faced flush-mullions and plain surrounds, those to No.7 with modern
ornamental shutters. Chimney in centre of ridge; gable copings with
kneelers.

Interiors altered, but said to have had interconnected upper floors formerly
used as weaving shops; and to have had intermittent water-power to operate
fly-wheel, marks of which are said to survive in No.6
