SK 15 SE PARISH OF PARWICH DAM LANE 5/68 (South Side) Parwich Lees
II
House. Early and mid-C19. Coursed rubble limestone with gritstone dressings. Plain tile or slate roofs with brick gable end stacks. Two and two and a half storeys. South elevation, dated 1810 according to the owner. Three bays, rendered. Central doorway with pilasters and simplified entablature. Half glazed door. Flanked on each side by canted bays with three glazing bar sashes and slate roofs. Three glazing bar sashes to the first floor with moulded architraves, the outer windows with keystones and the sills linked by a string band. Angle quoins. East elevation. To the ground floor, two 4-light mullion windows with an upper transom and labels. Two 3-light windows above with wooden mullions and a transom, in stone surrounds, with moulded keystones. Two 2-light, half-height, windows above with casements. A bellcote to the north is dated 1858. Entrance hall with Minton tiled floor.
