SX2564 WADHAM DRIVE 979-1/5/74 (West side) 23/09/50 Nos.1-7 (Consecutive) Wadham House (Formerly Listed as: CHURCH STREET SOUTH (South side) Wadham House)

GV II

House, now flats. 1830, enlarged 1843 for BH Lyne. Stucco on masonry; hipped slate roof; cast-iron gutters. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys; symmetrical 3-window east entrance front with cill strings. Original hornless sashes with glazing bars including those to blind bay on left except simply blind to ground floor; central doorway with Vitruvian scroll detail above, 6-panel door and patterned rectangular fanlight within mid C19 glazed porch with original hornless sashes with glazing bars. 5-bay south garden front has alternate bays broken forward and C20 windows. INTERIOR not inspected but likely to be of interest.
