Houses, now shops, offices and flats. Late C18. Brick; ashlar
plinth; plain tile roof; brick ridge stacks. Three-unit plan.
Three storeys; 5-window range: to right, 6/6 sashes, with 3/6
sashes over; to left, late C19 plain sashes in moulded cases
in recessed openings, with painted keystones in gauged brick
flat arches. Parapet with brick coping. Entrances at ends, to
passage to rear, have 6-fielded-panel doors with decorated
lintels and fanlights, recessed in panelled, moulded,
round-headed, keystoned cases, under moulded and modillioned
open pediment hoods on moulded pilasters; 1/1 sashes (late
C19 to left), and inserted C19, 4-panel door in panelled case
under moulded flat hood on consoles, with banded architrave.
Left returned side has storey band at first floor; inserted C20
casements under timber lintels. Stone coped gables. Brick
modillion eaves to rear. Twin gable wings to rear, and further
C19 and C20, 2-storey wings. INTERIOR: ground floor centre
retains panelling and moulded ceiling cornice. First floor left,
retains ornate ceiling cornice.
