Pair of attached houses, now office and shops. c1790. In style of Thomas Paty. Painted brick with limestone dressings, brick lateral stack and hipped pantile mansard roof. Double-depth plan. Late Georgian style. 3 storeys, attic and basement; 4-window range. A corner site with left-hand splayed 1-window entrance, C19 shop fronts, pilaster strips to cornice and parapet, and first-floor sill band. Timber shop front has C20 segmental-arched windows and C19 paired feather consoles to the fascia and cornice, and double half-glazed doors. 3:1 windows have 5 stepped voussoirs to 6/6-pane sashes. Left-hand 2-window return, the end windows blind. INTERIOR: largely remodelled late C20. Forms a pair with No.13 (qv) opposite.
