House, now office. Earlier C17; internally remodelled c1700. Render over brick with a pantile gabled roof. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys, basement and attic; 1-bay range. A left-hand 2-panel door with a rectangular overlight, and a full-width lean-to canopy on 2 good, moulded, curved brackets with Tudor roses on the sides, with large hand-cut slates, over paired plate-glass sashes; canted first- and second-storey bays have sashes with margin bars, below a gable with scalloped barge-boards pierced with quatrefoils, side finials and a central pendant. Right-hand return has a C20 six-panel door and side- and overlights beneath paired lintels each with 3-stepped voussoirs. At the rear the gable to an earlier adjoining property is cut off short above the current building. INTERIOR: basement with steps down from the pavement; central winder stair with stick balusters and column newels; rear niche cupboard with curved shelves; front second-floor bolection-moulded fireplace and good rear cast-iron range with pointed-arched panels; 2-panel doors; pegged purlins. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: Pennant-flagged front area has wrought-iron railings with a 2-leaf gate in the middle.
