Pair of attached houses. 1764-5. Stucco with limestone
dressings, rendered gable stacks and pantile mansard roof.
Double-depth plan. Mid Georgian style. Each of 2 storeys,
basement and attic; 3-window range. A symmetrical pair with
ovolo-moulded parapet coping and coped gables; entrances in
end blocks set back from the centre, which has pilasters. Each
has a flight of Pennant steps up to a C19 doorway with moulded
consoles to a canopy, and half-glazed door; basement door to
the inside of the steps; 5 stepped voussoirs to 6/6-pane
sashes, 1 window above the door, a plain window to the
basement, and C20 dormer. INTERIOR not inspected. SUBSIDIARY
FEATURES: wrought-iron railings to the steps.
