Terrace of 3 houses. Mid C19. Render with limestone dressings, party wall stacks, roof not visible. Double-depth plan. Neoclassical style. 2 storeys, attic and basement; 6-window range. Irregular terrace has 1:2:3 windows, with a moulded plat band, paired pilasters to a frieze and dentil cornice, attic storey, and second attic storey to No.7; first-floor string. Semicircular-arched doorway to No.5 in the left return has fanlight and 7-panel door, No.7 has left-hand doorway with 4-panel overlight and 7-panel door, No.9 has later single-storey porch with margin and overlights and C20 door. Architraves to windows, tripartite to No.5, with 6/6-pane sashes, 3/3-pane to the attic. INTERIOR: No.5, entrance hall with side dogleg winder stair with stick balusters, cast-iron newel and wreathed rail, 6-panel door, good marble fireplaces, and panelled shutters. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached basement area railings.
