Warehouse, now offices. 1854. By WB Gingell. Red sandstone plinth, rock-faced limestone ashlar, and coursed, squared Pennant with limestone dressings. 4 storeys; 3-window range. A symmetrical front has a C20 ground-floor shop front with Ionic pilasters to outer doorways; rock-faced quoins above to bracketed cornice with patera, and parapet with panels between dies bearing acroteria. Windows set within three 3-storey segmental arches with keys and rusticated voussoirs on Pennant pilasters; segmental-arched windows have architraves, heavy keys and carved foliate spandrels, and heavy lintels, flush with the front, to the first and second floors and ashlar voussoirs to the third. 3/1-pane horned sashes. The upper floors return a short way to the right. INTERIOR: largely remodelled mid C20. Formerly part of a sugar warehouse.
