Pair of houses. c1890. By Edward Ould for Theodore Mander. Timber framing on brick base; tile roof with brick stacks. Vernacular Revival style. Single storey with attic: centre projects under 2 gables; simple framing with large curved braces. Centre has wooden ovolo-mullioned windows with leaded glazing, of 4 lights to ground floor and 3 lights to 1st floor; re-entrant porches under hipped roofs, battened doors with top lights; 3 cross-axial stacks. Returns similar; gabled dormer to rear. Built as part of planned village for the Wightwick Manor (q.v.) estate, not completed.
