Group of seven cottages, possibly originally a laithe house,
subdivided and extended. Partially C18, with additions of
earlier C19. Roughly coursed and squared stone with stone
flagged and Welsh slate roofs.
Original building now Nos. 3-5. Blocked laithe door towards
centre, and present doorway of No. 4 to its right. Inserted
window in the blocking and to right. Two 2-light casements in
partially blocked former 3-light mullioned windows above.
Former paired doorways to the right, one now a 2-light window,
and former mullioned window now a casement window to left and
above. 3 forms original house to left.
Central door flanked by 2-light windows on each floor. Wide
right-hand window formerly shop window. Small lean-to to right
with additional doorway on inner face.
Nos. 1 and 2 probably a somewhat later addition advanced to the
left of the original range. Also 2 storeys, each a
single-unit, double-depth plan. Central doorways with inserted
windows each side. Blocked door to right with long and short
quoins and stone lintel. Square cut mullions to upper windows
of Nos. 4 and 5 (formerly 6) lights.
No. 1 has side entrance in former wash house extension. 2-light
mullioned windows in left-hand gable return.
No. 7 a later addition projecting to right of original farm
complex. 2 storeys with doorway on inner face of wing.
Inserted 2-light casement windows in original openings in
gable and left-hand return.
