GV II

House, possibly once 2 houses. Late C18, altered late C19. Coursed squared stone with quoins and painted ashlar dressings; Welsh slate roof with stone ridge, chimney and gable coping, one C20 chimney. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 2+2-window range in 2 builds. Left quoins to each build. First build at right has plain stone surround to 6-panel door and 3-pane overlight at left; 4-pane sashes in canted bay window at right and on first floor with painted flat stone lintels and projecting stone sills. Second build at left has similar lintels and sills to central 6-pane sash on ground floor and 2 first-floor sashes. Roof has left end gable coping on moulded kneelers, and end and central transverse chimneys with top bands, that on left end in C20 snecked stone. Left return has renewed door and high overlight in tooled stone surround under relieving arch; 4-pane sash in similar surround of round-headed stair window above. INTERIOR: not inspected.
