Wesleyan Methodist chapel and school, now apparently partly store and partly unoccupied. Dated 1849 at 1st floor; altered. Painted coursed sandstone rubble and some brick, felted stone slate roof. Rectangular plan parallel to street. 2 storeys and 3 windows; doorway at left end with board door, blocked overlight and the top half of a lintel which was probably formerly similar to those of the windows (see below); three 12-pane sashed windows on each floor, those at ground floor at a relatively high level and with raised sills and wedge lintels in flat-arched form with rusticated pseudo-voussoirs and raised keystones (and now boarded internally); 3 similar windows at 1st floor, with raised sills. Rectangular stone plaque at 1st floor inscribed "WESLEYAN METHODIST CHAPEL & SCHOOL 1849". Stone gable copings. Rear: ground floor covered by C20 additions; 1st-floor windows blocked with stone. Forms group with Nos 29 & 31 to right (qv).
