House. Early C19 with C17 origins. Rendered over stone, hipped
slate roof, brick end stacks. L-plan, 2-storey, 3-window
range. Central 4-panel door with fanlight recessed in
round-arched surround within continuous chamfer and outer
arch. 16-pane sash windows to ground and 1st floors. Chamfered
plinth and incised masonry patterns to painted render. Older,
2-storey wing to rear right of uncoursed limestone rubble with
plain-tile roof and casement windows of 1, 2, and 3 lights all
with wood lintels. C19 two-storey extension of brick with
slate roof doubles wing to rear left.
INTERIOR: datestone in wall by cellar door in wing upside down
and inscribed R M/1696. Spine beam. Dogleg stair with stick
balusters and ramped handrail. Cellar.
