GV II
House. Mid C18, altered C20, with possible older origins. Red brick in Flemish bond, plain-tile roof and brick end stacks. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 5-window range. Central 6-panel door with leaded overlight, moulded wood surround, segmental-arched head and straight hood on shaped brackets. Door is flanked by canted bay windows, timber on brick base, that to right with row of small cellar windows. Bays have 16-pane sashes to front and 4-pane sashes to sides. 12-pane sash windows to 1st floor and central blank window, all with segmental-arched heads. Storey band, corbelled brick eaves and 2 gabled roof dormer windows with 2-light leaded windows. INTERIOR: stone cellar and ogee stop-chamfered spine beams.
