GV II
House in row. Early to mid C19. Flemish bond brickwork, slate roof, brick stacks. L plan with rear wing and side-entry. A small house which oversails Well Alley to the right. 2 storeys and basement, 2-windowed. 12-pane sashes to brick voussoirs, stone cills. One sash only at ground floor centred to those above, and with grilled basement opening below. Far left is 6-panel fielded door in fluted pilaster surround with moulded cornice, including deep transom-light with margin panes, and a further panel immediately above door. Far right is arched opening to alley; part of the throughway is in brick tunnel vault. Parapet raised in later brick, to concrete coping, brick stack to rear, and to right, later raised. Rear includes 16-pane sash and wing with hipped roof encased by parapetted walls. INTERIOR not inspected.
