Town house or possibly a church house. C16. Rendered rubble
with some visible original granite dressings; steep dry slate
roof; truncated lateral stack with external breast to front
right. Single-depth plan plus rear extensions. 2 storeys;
2-window range. Early C19 16-pane hornless sashes except for
later C19 2-light casement with large diamond panes to
ground-floor right; window above is under heightened eaves as
a raking dormer. Original C16 4-centred arched moulded granite
doorway with square sunk spandrels hoodmould; C18 or early C19
flush-panelled door; C16 hoodmould with shorter labels over
window at higher level left of doorway. INTERIOR not
accessible at time of survey but said to be of considerable
interest and unaltered.
