GV II

Former malt house, now house at end of row. Probable early C19
on older site. Painted rubble with asbestos slate-hanging on
studwork to 1st floor; jettied to carriageway to left-hand
return; dry slate roof hipped on the left; brick stack on
left. Double-depth plan since used as house. 2 storeys;
2-window range. Original 16-pane hornless sashes; central 1st-
floor doorway, with C20 door and overlight, approached by
rubble flight of steps with slate treads and original
wrought-iron balustrade with turned cast-iron finials;
ground-floor sash under left-hand sash. Left-hand return is
2-window range with original sash on the left; C20 narrow
central window; ground floor with central doorway flanked by
large window openings with C20 casements with glazing bars.
