Row of 3 houses. Late C18-early C19, altered. Cement rendered and roughcast, slate roofs. 2 storeys, 2:2:1 windows to 1st floor. No.16 on right: raised surrounds; door on left of tripartite sash with projecting sill on blocks; 4-pane sash above also has projecting sill; end stack on left. No.18: central door and overlight in stop-chamfered surround; to each floor on right is a 4-pane sash with projecting sill and raised surround; canted, 2-storey bay window on left under own hipped roof; end stacks. No.20: C20 porch flanked on left by plain sash and on right by a tall segmentally-arched vehicle entrance with boarded doors. Projecting sills to C20 casements on 1st floor. Left end stack on party wall with No.22 Market Street (qv). Deed to No.18 said to commence in 1770.
