Public house and attached barn. Mid C18. Hammer-dressed stone,
dressed quoins, stone slate roof to house, tile roof to barn. 2
storeys. House has 3-bay symmetrical facade with basket-arched
doorway with composite jambs and chamfered surround. Single sashed
window over with chamfered surround. To either side 2-light double-
chamfered mullioned windows with 4-paned sashes. Central stack gives
lobby entry. Right-hand return wall has coped gable and stack. Attached
and slightly set back is barn range with lower roof line. Doorway to
left of 2-light sashed window with same over to 1st floor. Single
stack to ridge at junction with barn which has segmental-arched cart
entry with composite jambs to right of former mistal doorway with
basket-arched lintel and composite jambs, both with chamfered surrounds.
Rear of house retains 24-paned sashes set in chamfered surrounds to
1st floor.
