Inn. Late C16 core range with 1648 addition and C20 alterations. Colourwashed render to east front, coursed rubble to rear with stone dressings and gabled stone slate roofs with 1 stone stack and 2 brick stacks. L-shaped plan with core range to north, mid C17 addition to south and rear service wing. Two-storey east front of 2 elements: C16 range to right of 3 windows and 3-gabled-bay addition to left dated: WINIFRID/GOODCHEAP/ALIAS/COWLY/1648 (above upper window hoodmould to right). Windows to C16 range are 2 and 3-light chamfered mullions with hoodmoulds, those to 1648 wing are 2, 3 and 4-light similar mullions. All ground floor windows have blinds above. C20 doorway to left-hand bay of C16 range with 2- leaf plank doors and glazing; further plank door to right. Former carriage entrance now blocked and wall defaced by bus shelter.
