2/34 Raised terrace, 10. 9.54 balustrade and steps to south front of Farfield Hall
G V II
Terrace with approaching flight of steps and steps to entrance of Farfield Hall (q.v.) with flanking balustraded walls. Early C18. Ashlar. Dressed stone walls with cyma-moulded copings which terminate in square piers. Set between, flight of 5 stone steps the treads treated as imposts. Flagged stone terrace with circular feature. Broad stone landing with 2 shell shaped steps to entrance flanked by circular stone drums. To either side of terrace square piers with recessed panels, moulded rail and vase shaped turned stone balusters.
