3/192 Doctors surgery and annexe to Gerrards Farmhouse, 24.7.74 (Formerly listed as range of stables and outbuildings)
GV II
Range of stables and carriage house, now surgery and annexe. Circa 1860, altered 1970s. Dressed limestone, Welsh slate roof. L-plan with former carriage house at right angles to former stables. Single storey. Road front has top-hung C20 casement to former carriage house, smaller C20 casement to stable range to left. North east gable of stables has inserted top-hung C20 casement and C20 door both with transom lights. Rear of stable range has four blocked doorways now partly blocked with C20 top-hung casements, but retaining transom lights, casements and planked stable door with transom light to left. Right part has small round-arched opening with slot for ramp, formerly to hen house in loft, ground floor has blocked segmental-headed opening to former kennel or piggery, two arched openings in gabled dovecote to roof. Former carriage house to left has partly blocked arched openings with inserted casements and French windows. Interior converted to new use and original fittings removed.
