INCE BLUNDELL PARK WALL ROAD SD 30 SW (south-west side) 6/75 Stables to south west of Ince 11.10.68 Blundell Hall
G.V. II
Stables. c.1800-1814. Brick with stone dressings, hipped slate roof. 2 storeys, 9 bays. Central 3 bays break forward under pedimented gable. Stone base and top cornice. Ground floor windows have wedge lintels and are sashed with glazing bars. End bays have round-headed recesses with triple keys, that to north end has garage doors, that to south has small C20 extension. Central bay has giant round- headed recess with triple key; entrance with angle pilasters archivolt and key, complete fanlight and paired doors; Diocletian window above. 1st floor keyed oculi, end bays with stone panels. Rainwater heads dated 1814. One brick stack. C20 garage adjoins to north.
