Barn with cow house and stable. C17. Stone with stone slate and slate roof. One storey with 2-storey cross wing to west end. 5-bay barn has cow house in out shut to central 3 bays on north side; large entrance to left of this, small entrance to right. Cow house has central entrance and flanking windows; entrance in right return has wide-boarded door. South facade to Lane has large entrance to left and signs of blocked entrance to right. Roof has slate north pitch and stone slate south pitch. Cross-wing has stable door and window, pitching door and flanking small windows, one of 2 lights, and 2 pigeon holes with ledge to apex on north gable end. Return has stable door, 2 windows and pitching hole. South gable end has window. Interior: of barn has cruck truss with tie beam and collar to east of entrance bay, 2 tie-beam trusses with struts, and cross-wall, separating eastern bay from rest of barn, with pitching hole. Cow house has 5 stalls; purlin supported on curved tie beam and 4 posts, 2 with ovolo moulding. Cross wing has tie-beam truss with struts. The barn is probably contemporary with the farmhouse.
