II
Public house, originally farmhouse. C17 with a C19 brick skin. Plain tile
roof, replaced in the C20. Entrance front: 1/2-glazed door at far left and
one at right of centre. Three cambered-headed windows at ground floor
level of 3 x 2 panes with a slightly projecting plinth of Flemish bond
brick. To the attic are, at right of centre, a 5-light casement dormer
window and at either side of this 3-light dormers with shallow-pitched
roofs. To the ridge at left of centre is a C19 stack of 3 flues and
another one to the right hand gable end. Numerous C20 additions to the
rear.

Interior: 2-cell plan with chamfered ceiling beams with lamb's tongue end
stops and joists and some close studding to the rear wall.
